Darts, darts and more darts (and a GPS)!!!
An early xmas present just arrived in Nairobi via the African Wildlife Foundation in the USA. With the support from IDEA WILD and Pneudart, the GCF has received150 newly designed biopsy (genetic) darts for sampling giraffe both here in Kenya and across the continent. This is invaluable support and really grateful!
Additionally, IDEA WILD have supported the purchase of a GPS and it is already on the ground in Soysambu Conservancy and helping to record data for a habitat assessment of the endangered Rothschild's giraffe.
